During my many years at HOW, I was fortunate to work with so many talented writers, illustrators and photographers to create the magazine. One of them was Chicago photographer Alan Klehr. In addition to shooting for magazines and corporate clients, he sells fine-art prints to individuals and organizations, and he licenses images through various stock agencies. Alan’s portfolio is full of great images of people, Chicago architecture … and food.
Recently, Alan got in touch after hearing through the grapevine about my second career as a food-focused writer. He told me he’d recently been traveling on assignment through northern Indiana, and he graciously shared several images he shot at farmers’ markets in the area. Beautiful, aren’t they?
