Wine of the week: Hitching Post Pinks.

Wine: Hitching Post Pinks 2009
Price: $18
Tasting notes: light, bright berry flavors, with a crisp start and soft finish
Story: We love a nice rosé while we’re having appetizers on the Side Porch on a warm July afternoon, and I don’t think to drink pink in cooler months. This, however, was the perfect quaffer before dinner on a cold and dark December night. Fans of “Sideways” will recognize the Hitching Post in Buellton, CA, as a stop on the wine-fueled bachelor party roadtrip.
