On this gloriously sunny and pleasantly cool November 1st, I have two things growing in the garden: garlic, which is poking its little heads up through the bed of leaves it’s mulched with, and arugula. I’m having fabulous luck (knock wood) growing arugula this fall (lettuce: not so much). In a few short hours, this potful of arugula will be tossed with olive oil, sea salt and cracked pepper to go atop our house special: Pizza with fontina, prosciutto and arugula. Nom!

This is great! We’re keeping an our lettuce to see how long it’ll last in MN. It’s fun to see another gardener documenting the status of her leafy greens.
